eLicenser window should be open before scanning. The same problem is when scanning the AU with AU manager. In short terms: Logic makes Soft eLicenser crash when a eLicenser synth has been opened as an AU. Until I close the eLicenser Control Center, then I have to reboot to be able to start it again. Then I could open Arturia synths and close them, close Logic and reopen etc. I found a workaround: Open the eLicenser Control Center, and let in run in the background (cmd H), and then open Logic. I can open and close eLicenser Control Center and standalone synths as many times as I want, as long as I don't open Logic, and then Arturia synths as an AU in Logic. When I closed an Arturia synth within Logic, or closed Logic after running a project with one of these synths, I couldn't reopen any of these synths within Logic afterwards - In fact, I couldn't open the stand-alones either! And when I tried to open the eLicenser Control Center, it would just say "Reading eLicensers" forever. Now - I upgraded to Mountain Lion, and tested my synths to make sure everything was OK, experienced a bunch of problems, and did a full recovery to clean Mountain Lion.Īfter installing the Arturia synths, and adding my licenses, I installed Logic. This has always worked great with Lion, never any problems with eLicenser (never had to open it etc.) I'm using X3 producer.I have a bunch of Arturia synths, which requires the Soft eLicenser to work. The new owners have owned Cakewalk for a number of years now but have not done anything to bring out upgrades or newer version of the successful. so it looks like its Bandlab.i know they don't like people using the the old Cakewalk install files they do try and get old customers to change to their free version, but I see why they should attempt to force customers to change to Bandlab. it looks like BandLab have done something to our install I know its not my computer.as I've got a clean install. ![]() Hi mate, I'm getting the same issue.having to save with a different name. Does anyone have any idea what the sharing violation is or how to find it? ![]() The only thing I can do at this point is save under a slightly different name. Either I do more work or leave and come back to it later and make more changes. I open a project in its original folder, say in Sonar 7, work on it, and then do a Save As, move to the CbB folder and save it there. I'm updating some old pieces with software resources (I no longer use any hardware synths). Click Registration, hover over the USB eLicenser, then click Copy Serial Number. Hey, side issue: My SPlat doesn't have the Theme Editor in Preferences (probably I stopped my subscriptions before they added this to SPlat?) so I can't apply the Tungsten theme. Connect the USB eLicenser to your computer, then launch eLicenser Control Center. ![]() I also tried deactivating AVG and that didn't help, either.) (I updated the eLicenser software to the latest version after this problem began, to no avail. So I don't know what is going on or why Synsopos gets activated in CbB and not SPlat, but it seems the sharing violation is somehow related to Synsopos. If I don't use HS 3, Synsopos doesn't get activated and I can overwrite freely.īUT - I opened a copy of this same project in SPlat and Synsopos doesn't come up at all: jtnl petera I notice there was an elicenser driver update. I use Steinberg's HALion Sonic 3 as the base VI for most of my music (basically replacing my old Roland SC-880 hardware). When I start eLicenser Control Center it hangs until I unmount eLicencer in VirtualHere. Turns out it has to do with Steinberg's eLicenser copy protection software. These files are not available in the Steinberg Download Assistant anymore. For this purpose, previous installers can be downloaded using the links below. ![]() In exceptional cases, it can be useful to install an older version. I began to notice recently this program, Synsopos, as a process under Cakewalk.exe: In general, we recommend downloading via the Steinberg Download Assistant and always using the latest program version. SYNSOPOS.exe pid: 13112 type: File xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1D68: D:\Midi\Cakewalk\Sonar (CBB)\N_idea19-Test\N_idea19-Test.cwp
