I can usually close it by clicking outside the box, but sometimes it wont go away for minutes regardless of page or number of reloads. It just adds # into address field and goes nowhere, like any other broken redirect. If it were cookies, then it just wouldn't save the results, but still go away, no? You can try delete the cookies for this website (or if you have cookies disabled, enable them for this website) and see if this fixes the problem. However I think this is the result of cookies not working correctly.
